Ever wish

Ever wish that advertisers would stop, pushing their crack cocaine slogans and "catch-phrases". It seems that life is more about a certain lifestyle vs just living. And I must admit, life sometimes seems bleak and boring. It's the same crap over and over with different labels on it. Nothing of no value, no integrity. It seems like it's this big race.

Everyday, we race to get ready, we race to work, we race to get that "important" job done, then we race to lunch, and race back from lunch... then finally at minutes to 5 (if your that lucky) we race home. Where you wish for time to slow down just enough to figure what the hell your doing with your life... then it happens, the big race is on again.

I know my rabbling seems to go from one thing to the next, ads to life. But hey, everyday I'm told what to do vs just doing what I want, I figured since it's my blog I can do what I friggin please.

The Internet is a Fraud

Today I was surfing the net for what would feel like years. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I was merely surfing. Maybe I was hoping to find, something interesting, but it seems all I came across was the same ol' regurgitation of facts and hear say. Come on people don't we have anything new and interesting to say and talk about, besides Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, or whatever is so called "Popular". And I swear if I see another, "You can make millions" from blogging ad or text link, I'm going to learn how to be a hacker and rip your server in half. Now don't get me wrong we all have to make a living, but my god, at least provide the people with some good content. And remember, "If you build it, they will come". So people please do me a favor, stop the bullshit and write something new and interesting and not just repeat what you heard.... now does Polly want a cracker?

I wish people like the people over at whateversinteresting.com, would indeed post info that is interesting. Their poor attempt at "trying" to sound like they actual know WTF their talking about, is quite amusing. I wish Microsoft users would awaking from their 30 hour virus patrol and realize that there is an easier way to use a computer, and that computers are your friends and that the Apple Empire is the greatest. And the Apple Iphone, is just the evolution of a stronger, bigger, species (Apple) that is going to triumphant over the weaker, akwakard neantherdal (Microsoft). Welcome to the new Era!!!

Can men produce breast milk?

My first reaction was WTF, then followed was 'Hell No'. But apparently you can, that is, in rare cases men have been known to produce breast milk (I guess peter from Family Guy was one of these rarities). The reasons for this on-godly event is due in part to the pituitary gland churning out signals and hormones that cause some men's bodies to produce the milk that god intend women to produce. I think I'm going to get a beer and celebrate I'm not on of those guys.

You can’t send your cat to space!

You shouldn't at least. For years now though, private companies have been happy to let you pay them to launch your personal payload into space, with prices ranging from $500 a pound on a US spacecraft to $200 a pound on the Russian Shtil-3A rocket. But soon and very soon, your launch will be even cheaper. As early as 2008. For a mere $99, (yes I said it, $99, man I'm going to launch my own network satellite) you will be able to send any object of your choosing. Optionally pressurized containers will even allow you to send something that’s alive, as long as it’s hardy enough to survive the trip — your pet, that annoying kid next door — 62 miles into space and back as long as it weighs less than a pound, fits into a soda-can-size canister. So i guess the cat is out of the question, but what about the kid? (cue the evil music track).

More than meets the eye

With the release of the movie Transformers only months away (July 4). Has me asking at least are we yet close to actual robots that will interact with human kind? Based on the animated series and popular action figures of the early 1980s, Transformers (brought to life by CGI) can change from, say, a 25-foot humanity-hating robot into a deadly jet fighter in four seconds flat. I doubt that we'll ever see any sort of robot do this in our lifetimes, but the idea of being able to create something with our own two hands in our image (cue hte twlight zone music) and to behave in manner that is "human" would be cool.

I hate the web

So you want to be a blogger? - Part 1

Blogging by far has got to be one of the most over-rated ways of, "making money". And totally under-rated for the amount of work it requires to maintain a blog. It seems like now-a-days ever one and there grandma has a "Blog". But what happens now that the internet has become more and more saturated with, new bloggers? Well like everything else that becomes popular, change. Change for better or worst is still and none the less change. And the driving force behind such change would most defiantly be technology. Technology (the web, html, RSS and other wonderful long winded and cryptic words) started the trend of blogging and will continue to carve the blogsphere into a more define business. As it stand with blogging the harsh reality is that it hard and difficult to get a successful blog and it is most defiantly twice as difficult to maintain a successful. In part two, I will discuss the "great" pitfalls of blogging.
